Color Etching: Five Balloons

Color etchings are created by making two or three plates, each holding different elements of the image and inked in a number of colors. The paper is passed backwards and forwards through the press, each time with a different plate. This hybrid etching depicts a mother carrying four balloons and a child holding one balloon.
