Original Oil Painting: The Clown

The Italian circus left a deep impression on Arizona artist Ted DeGrazia (1909-1982) when he lived in Southern Italy from the ages of eleven to fifteen. Decades later his childhood memories inspired a series of circus themed artworks in all mediums. This oil painting depicts a lonely clown holding a rooster.
